THE HOLLYWOOD NUDIE HANDBOOK
(a.k.a. HOW TO COLLECT NUDE PICTURES OF CELEBRITIES
& STILL RESPECT YOURSELF IN THE MORNING)
Tony Banks
A Wise Man once said, "Sex Sells!" And sex does definitely sell in the good old U.S. of A. even though this idea does definitely have its detractors (feminists, fundamentalists and other fascists as the late great Bill Hicks might have put it). This book takes a rather satirical look at sex in the movies along with other forms of (so-called) popular culture (that is, if you haven't figured THAT out already!). As another Wise Man once said, "Write what you know!" And this is most definitely a topic I know quite a bit about (as, of course, you'll see from reading the book!)!

Here's an excerpt from The Hollywood Nudie Handbook:
Use to, you had to go out of your way to find nudie pics of female celebs. But now, thanks largely to the Internet, all you have to do is Google a female celeb’s name and voila! Instant celebrity nudity! (Ah, the wonders of technology!) Best of all, you don’t have to spend a butt-load of moo-la at your local newsstand—as, of course, yours truly has done!—to buy a mag that features a nudie celebrity pictorial. Of course, at the newsstand, Playboy & Maxim magazines are probably the best sources for finding nudie celebrity pictorials. (It used to be a magazine called Celebrity Sleuth which changed its name to Celebrity Skin, though I’m not sure if the mag’s still in circulation since, as I’ve said, you can find the same pics for free on the Internet. Sort of like what’s happened to newspapers, the music business and the Post Office, you might say!)
Use to, it was a big damn deal for a female celeb—even a so-called B-list celeb—to take it all off on-camera and onscreen. Nowadays, with every female celeb (and her mother!) taking it all off in magazines—like, of course, Playboy & Maxim—and in film at the proverbial drop of a hat, it’s actually become rather abnormal for a female celeb not to take it all off for the camera.
